Twisted (Poem)
June 10th, 2008Elated nausea
& giddy fear;
you—feel unlike yourself,
an unusual reaction.
It almost seems…
normal when—
you are—alive in monochromatic
scenes.
Eternity lapped up in a second,
you knit a web of
memories that—never will happen or
did they?A sick hunger
for something
grotesque, cacophonous,
euphoric—anything.
Something to
keep you happy for—
long after youwake up.
